Key suspect in murder of soldier at Ashaiman confesses to crime

The young man who was identified as

the key suspect in the gruesome

murder of a soldier at Ashaiman has

confessed to the crime and named his

conspirators.

The police had earlier detained the

killer after which they released a press

conference on Friday night. According

to the release, the suspect was

captured as a result of a one-week

operation that was intelligence-led.

Police have not released the names of

the accused.

"The Police after a week of sustained

intelligence-led operation have

arrested the key suspects involved in

the murder of Imoro Sherrif, the soldier

who was found dead at Taifa Ashaiman

on 4th March 2023," the terse brief

from the police said.
